My nephew (he's 8) liked another book in this series so when I came across this one I picked it up for him. "The Great One" played hockey from the time he was a little kid and broke all the records. I like the format of this book--the biography is mixed in with sidebars on related geographic and historical info--and learned not only about Wayne Gretzky but that Alexander Graham Bell was also born in Brantford, Ontario.
